Lovingkindness Caring for Others and Self , The Heart of Higher Education

Abstract This paper begins by outlining lovingkindness practice as a means of cultivating compassion. The nature and stages of this practice are outlined. Then some of the research on the impact of this practice generally and in higher educational contexts is summarised.
